GetMaster Up ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website getmasterup.com and the associated learning platform. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

We collect the following personal data when you use our platform:

• Account data — your name, email address, and profile photo, provided by Google when you sign in with Google OAuth.
• Enrollment data — course selections, payment proof uploads (image or PDF), and enrollment status.
• Learning data — lessons watched, progress timestamps, and course completion status.
• Usage data — pages visited, device type, browser, and approximate location (country/city level), collected via server logs.
• Communications — emails we send you (welcome, enrollment confirmation, certificate) via our transactional email provider.

We do not collect payment card details. All payment amounts are communicated via UPI or bank transfer, and proof is uploaded by you directly.

• To create and manage your account.
• To verify payment and confirm course enrollment.
• To track your learning progress and enable resume playback.
• To issue completion certificates.
• To send transactional emails (enrollment updates, certificates).
• To improve our platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data for behavioural advertising.

We share your data only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database (Firestore), and cloud storage. Data is stored in the asia-south1 (Mumbai) region.
• Cloudflare — global CDN delivery of course video content via Cloudflare R2 (zero data sold to advertisers).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Google Cloud Platform — secure storage of payment proofs and certificates (GCS, asia-south1 region).

Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement and may not use your data for any other purpose.

We use minimal, strictly necessary cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Your browser's local storage may be used to remember preferences (e.g. video playback position). This data never leaves your device.

• Active account data is retained for as long as your account exists.
• Payment proofs are retained for 7 years for financial compliance.
• Server logs are purged after 90 days.
• If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where legal obligations require longer retention.

Under applicable Indian law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing.
• Raise a grievance with our data protection officer.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@getmasterup.com from the address associated with your account. We will respond within 72 hours.

Our platform is intended for users aged 18 and above, or for users under 18 with verified parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or by a prominent notice on the platform at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
